The Dr. Henry Wise Pumas dominated the Roosevelt Raiders right from the opening kickoff until the last play of the game. It was a game that was highlighted by the two defenses, who combines for a staggering 7 forced fumbles to go along with 2 interceptions. The Wise Pumas have yet to allow a single point in their 3 games so far this season. The Puma defense forced 5 Roosevelt turnovers and only allowed 125 total yards against a Raider team that crossed 50-yard line once all game.

The game began with the Wise defense forcing a turnover on the very first play from the line of scrimmage. The Pumas capitalized one play later with a 5-yard touchdown run by senior Franklin Porter. Halfway through the second quarter, senior linebacker Benjamin Robinson scored on a 27 yard pick 6. Robinson earned the MVP honor for his defensive performance throughout the game.
