Cony 41, Gardiner 0 (10/24/2014)

October 25, 2014

Up north in Maine, Cony had no problem dealing with rival Gardiner, shutting them down with a 41-0 score.

The Gardiner/Cony rivalry dates back to 1893 and has continued into the present day as the third oldest rivalry east of the Mississippi River. After a week of very wet weather, the skies cleared and the game was played on a very muddy field! Cony took the conditions well as they scored the first touchdown early into the first quarter. Gardiner could never get a score on the board, as Cony dominated this rivalry with a final score, Cony 41 Gardiner 0.
