By iHigh Admin of Great American Rivalry Series

Torrian Pace and the Chantilly Chargers were running on all cylinders against the Robinson Rams on Friday night as they claimed victory against Robinson 36-20 using their impressive running attack. The matchup was the first time the two sides had faced each other since the Rams victory last year in the Concorde District Playoffs.

Pace, who ran for 234 yards on 29 carries, was awarded the game’s Most Valuable Player Trophy and led the senior-laden Chargers squad.

Scoring in the game started quickly with a Chantilly safety and remained close throughout the first half, with the score at halftime 16-13 in favor of Chantilly. Torrian Pace took over in the second half, scoring twice on runs of over 50 yards and once on a three-yard plunge. Robinson was led by Quarterback Timmy Meyer, who threw two touchdown passes in the game.
