Brookwood 10, Parkview 3 (10/22/10)

October 23, 2010

by Kristen Parker
It was a beautiful, clear night in Lilburn GA for the annual showdown between Parkview and Brookwood, “The Battle of Five Forks.” The stands, as usual, were packed to see these rival schools battle it out.

The Brookwood Broncos scored first, leading the Parkview Panthers 7-0 at the half, then upped the lead to 10-0 after three quarters. With 8:40 remaining in the game, Parkview intercepted and hoped to make a recovery. With less than two minutes to go, the Panthers got on the board with a field goal but still fell short of victory.

Final score: Brookwood 10-Parkview 3
