The Bishop McDevitt Crusaders and Cumberland Valley Eagles have continued the tradition year after year. The meeting between theses two teams continue to be a Pennsylvania statewide marquee matchup. Both programs are rooted in great tradition. Bishop McDevitt leads the overall series 18-12-1.

Cumberland Valley received the winning coin toss and started of with the ball. Due to the intensity of the Bishop McDevitt defense, Cumberland Valley was held to only 3 points at half. Cumberland Valley defense matched that of Bishop McDevitt’s, rendering them scoreless until late in the 4th when McDevitt finally scored the first and only touch down of the game. The hard fought game came to a close with the score of Bishop McDevitt – 6, Cumberland Valley -3.
