Aliquippa 54, Beaver Falls 6 (10/24/2014)

Aliquippa and Beaver Falls came together for their 80th rivalry game to date. This match-up began back in the 1920’s. Aliquippa has earned a top five spot in the state high school rankings and has made a title for themselves as “The team to beat.” Unlike previous years, this game was a Quips win from the start. The ball started off in the hands of Beaver Falls only to be quickly intercepted by #8 Stephon McGinnis of Aliquippa. The play was shortly followed by a Quips touchdown. The Indians go in at the half with a 74 yard touchdown, with no time left on the clock, bringing the score to a 34-6 lead over Beaver Falls. The Quips continued to stay on the upside throughout the second half creating a final score of 54-6.
