Abilene 38, Abilene Cooper 7 (9/12/2014)

September 15, 2014

The “Crosstown Showdown” between Abilene and Cooper High School was the talk of the town for these two rival schools. School spirit was high as the Cooper Cougars and the Abilene Golden Eagles took to the field at Shotwell Stadium on a windy, wet night. Cooper was quick to make the plays and put the points on the board first, but Abilene took control of the game and never let Cooper score again. The cold northern wind made it tough to get down the field, but Abilene went on to win the game 38-7.
