Jim was the first Trabuco Hills High School football coach and was there from 1985-1994. During that time, Jim’s teams won 3 CIF Section Championships in 1988, 1989, and 1993 and brought Trabuco Hills into the Southern California high school football spotlight. Before that, Jim had a long and successful tenure as the head football coach at Long Beach Poly High School. Jim retired from his teaching career in 2002, but has continued to consult and coach part time in the Orange County and Long Beach communities. He could not be here tonight, but he is truly honored to be mentioned with the great names in Trabuco Hills and Mission Viejo football families.
