2017 Scholar Athletes: Phong “Billy” Ngo & Jacob Olaerts

From Fountain Valley High School, Phong “Billy” Ngo

Fountain Valley High School is proud to present Billy Ngo as our Rivalry Athlete of the Year.  He is escorted by his aunt Daisy and uncle I.B.  Billy has loved football since he arrived in the U.S. at age 6.  Billy is a 2 year Varsity Player at Defensive End.  He has a 4.37 GPA and plans to apply to USC and Stanford.  He volunteers at Orange Coast Memorial Hospital and hopes to be a doctor in the future.

From Edison High School, Jacob Olaerts

Jacob is a 2 year varsity letterman on the football team and a member os the 2016 C.I. F. championship team. He has received multiple scholar athlete honors by both his school and the Sunset League. He was also awarded the pillar of character award for displaying positive traits and having and an outstanding character.
