2017 Scholar Athletes: Michael Uribe & Ryan Valdes

From Hart High School, Michael Uribe

Michael has been recognized for several scholar awards in football, baseball, and basketball. He was awarded the Faith Bowl MVP, 1st team all league for baseball and the Principal’s list for his high GPA. Michael is involved in several clubs, such as FCA and SLC and volunteers for The Oaks and Brewline Fellowship. He is undecided on where he wants to attend college but wants to major in business.

From Canyon High School, Ryan Valdes

Ryan is a wonderful young and strives athletically and academically. His determination is showcased in not only his football performance, but also his classroom representation.  Ryan is currently carrying a 3.8 cumulative GPA.  He is one of Canyon’s starting running backs and most recently rushed for 153 yards in two quarters against Simi Valley.
