2017 Scholar Athletes: Michael Torres & Nathaniel Marshall

From Schurr High School, Michael Torres

Michael has tremendous character who represents the Schurr program with pride and integrity and has a true heart of a champion.  He carries a 3.45 academic GPA for his four years at Schurr High School. It is not easy to be a true student-athlete and the sacrifices that Michael makes to keep his grades up are appreciated by our staff and school.

From Montebello High School, Nathaniel Marshall

Nathaniel is a two-year varsity starter and letterman. He was a 2016 1st Team All-Almont League Offensive Linemen. Marshall also participates in the Golden Keys Choir Club, plays baseball at Montebello, is a part of the College Bound Today program, and is on the Honor Roll.

Nathaniel wishes to attend College of Idaho as a pre-med major and play football.
