2017 Scholar Athletes: Jordan Lawson & Emmanuel Daniels

From Longview High School, Jordan Lawson

Jordan is a two-year varsity letterman in football and a three-year varsity letterman in baseball.  During the spring, Jordan won the Lobo Iron Man Competition that goes to the top performer in off-season competition.  In addition to sports, Jordan is a member of the Longview HS FCA, The New Birth Baptist Church, I-Serve Ministry and volunteers his time to assist the youth of Longview.

From John Tyler High School, Emmanuel Daniels

Emmanuel is a one-year letterman and a three-year letterman in track. He was a regional qualifier his sophomore year and an area qualifier during his junior track season. Ranked atop the senior class, Emmanuel is a member of the National Honor Society, student council and student leadership team. He plans to attend Texas A&M and pursue a degree in biology.
