2017 Scholar Athletes: Jacob Wall and George Carter

From Maryville High School, Jacob Wall

Jacob is a three-year starter in football and a four-year starter in track and field. He is President of the National Honor Society and a Member of Maryville Scholars and Latin Honors Society. He started a fundraiser called “Tackles & Catches for Cancer” raising $5,000 for Cancer research. He plans to attend college and study mechanical engineering.

 

From Alcoa High School, George Carter

George is a four-year letterman on the varsity football team. Off the field, he participates in his church youth group and is a member of the National Honors Society. After graduating from Alcoa High School, George plans on pursing a bachelor’s degree in exercise science.
