2017 Scholar Athletes: Day’veon Higgs & Ian Long

From Male High School  Day’Veon Higgs

Day’Veon is a four-year letterman on the football team. He was an all-district selection last season. He is a member of the Beta Club, the National Honor Society and Future Physicians of America. He plans to attend college, play football, and pursue a career as an orthopedic surgeon.


From Manual High School, Ian Long

Ian is a two-year starter at inside linebacker for the Crimsons and carries a weighted GPA of 4.28. He is an eagle scout, a member of the National Honor Society and church youth group. He plans to attend the University of Arizona and study physiology.
