2017 Scholar Athletes: Ben Mazur & Carter Post

From Lancaster, Ben Mazur

Ben is a two-year letterman in football, and a four-year letterman in lacrosse. He was an All-Class AA Honorable Mention for defensive end as a junior, and selected captain this year. In lacrosse, Ben was named both All-American and Academic All American for the goalie position. He plans to attend St. Bonaventure where he will study biology and play lacrosse. Ben aspires to go to Medical School and become an orthopedic surgeon.

From Depew, Carter Post

Carter is a two-time letterwinner in football and plays varsity hockey and varsity lacrosse. After the 2016 season, he was named an All-Star Lineman in Section 6, Class B. He has been honored this season with a Trench Trophy nomination, and a Character Athlete of the game Award. He is a member of the National Honor Society, he has a 96.1 GPA and an SAT score of 1340. He plans to attend college and study Mechanical Engineering Technology.
