From Edison High School, Dave White
Dave White is no stranger to the Rivalry Game. Not only did he play in the game 3 times in the early 70s but he has coach in it 38 times, with 31 of those being as head coach. Before returning to coach at Edison in 1979 Dave was starting quarterback and won a national championship at Orange Coast College. He then went on to play at Oregon State University. During his tenure at Edison, Coach white compiled over 230 wins, 15 league titles and won to C.I. F. championships. Although he will be remembered for his many successes on the field, Coach White was a firm believer in doing things the right way, and doing everything with integrity and character.
