2017 Hall of Fame Inductees: Lance Babb II & Johnny Macias

From Schurr High School, Lance Babb II

Lance is a three-year starter and will be a three year All League performer including earning League MVP and All CIF honors last year.  He is an outstanding young man of character at Schurr High School and has earned over 10 Scholarship offers this year.  Lance is a very multifaceted young man who makes us proud to say he is a Spartan.


From Montebello High School, Johnny Macias

A Montebello 1988 graduate, he was a 1st team All-CIF running back on the 12-1 1987 semi-finalist football team. He came back to his alma mater to coach in 1993 as a freshman assistant coach and eventually his coaching skills took him up to the varsity level from 1997-2003. He helped coach at Roosevelt High School and at Schurr. He has a total of eight championships and seven as a coach.
