2017 Hall of Fame Inductees: Jerod Zabransky & PHS Linebackers Club

From Hermiston High School, Jerod Zabransky

Jerod played at Boise State and was signed as a free agent by the Houston Texans of the NFL. He was named the Offensive Player of the Game in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl when Boise State beat Oklahoma in overtime.


From Pendleton High School, PHS Linebacker’s Club

The PHS Linebacker’s Club was established in 1983 in an effort to preserve the memory of legendary Coach Requa, as well as raise funds for scholarships and financial support for the PHS Football team. The Don Requa scholarship is awarded to the top senior football player who exemplifies the high performance standards set by Coach Requa. In 2017, the Linebacker’s Club recognized its largest amount of male and female athletes into the Buckaroo Hall of Fame.
