2017 Hall of Fame Inductees: Hameen Ali & Miles Hunter

From Dover High School, Hameen Ali

Hameen played in the rivalry game since his sophomore year in 1994. Hameen is an American former college football player for the College of William & Mary who is known for being the 2000 recipient of the Disney Sports Spirit Award. The award is presented annually to “college football’s most inspirational athlete, who displays a sense of courage and an undying love for the game, while overcoming adversity on or off the field.” Hameen is currently a coach at Dover, where he serves as a role model to his athletes.

 

From Caesar Rodney High School, Miles Hunter

Miles played in the rivalry game since his sophomore year in 2008. His senior year, Miles was a captain and was named a 1st Team All-State linebacker. He went on to play at Liberty University and win three conference championships, and graduated with a degree in psychology, and finished with a master’s in education. Miles currently works as a diversity coordinator, and is proud to call Caesar Rodney his home.
