2017 Hall of Fame Inductees: Cole Gautsche & Mark Alvarado

Cole played quarterback on the 2012 undefeated state championship Cleveland storm team, better known as the Perfect Storm. Cole was a two time team captain, first team All-State QB in 2011 and the 2011 New Mexico Football Gatorade Player of the Year.  At the University of New Mexico, Cole was voted a Captain and was a starter for the Lobos for three seasons. Currently, Cole is the Offensive Graduate Assistant and QB coach at Ottawa University of Arizona.

From Rio Rancho High School, Mark “Marky”Alvarado

Mark “Marky” Alvarado played in the rivalry game his junior and senior years. He played on both sides of the ball as both a wide receiver and defensive back. In the 2014 Rivalry game, Alvarado came up with a game saving interception to help secure the Rams win, a 13-0 undefeated season, and a District 1-6A title. The 2014 Rio Rancho Rams went on to win their first state championship in school history.
