2017 Hall of Fame Inductees: Art Aucoin & Devon Walker

From Hahnville High School, Art Aucoin    

Art is a 1982 graduate of hahnville, He played in this rivalry three years as a WR and RB. He returned to his alma mater in 1987 as a teacher and assistant football coach. Art coached for 8 seasons including the 1992 undefeated 15-0 season with a LHSAA State Championship.

From Destrehan High School, Devon Walker

Devon Walker is the true example of the “fighting wildcat” spirit. Devon won the state championship in 2008. After earning an academic scholarship to Tulane and working to earn the starting safety position, Devon had a life changing injury in the second game of his senior year. Devon never gave up and continued his studies to earn a degree in Cell and Molecular biology, and will earn a masters degree in Neuroscience.
