2017 Hall of Fame Inductee: Eric Kerley

From Hoover High School, Eric Kerley

Eric played noseguard on defense for the Berry High School Buccaneers from 1991 – 1993 under legendary Buc Coach Bob Finley.  In fact, Kerley played here at the Hoover Met several times his junior & senior seasons including Coach Finley’s last game as head coach in 1993.  He was selected to the All-State team as well as some All-American squads before signing with the University of Alabama Crimson Tide where he played from 1994 – 1997 being selected as a team game captain several times.  Eric and his family live in the Birmingham area.  Eric is married to Aleshka and they have a son, Eric Jr.  His mother is Mozella and younger brother is Joshua. Eric is the owner of a private fitness club.
