2016 Scholar Athletes: Marcus Taite & Devin Thomas

Marcus Taite

Marcus is a captain of Phoebus’ football team and he currently holds a 3.5 GPA. Marcus is a wonderful leader on and off the field for his teammates. Marcus plans to continue his schooling next year and is interested in attending William & Mary, NC A&T and Morgan State University and study Sociology. Marcus is the son of Watalia Elliot and Donald Taite.



Devin Thomas

Devin is a 1-year letterman for the Hampton football team, he also participated in chorus from his Freshman year to his Junior year. He currently has a 4.11 GPA and is pursuing his International Baccalaureate diploma. Devin plans to attend Virginia Commonwealth University and pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. He is the son of Darryl and Stephanie Thomas.
