2016 Scholar Athletes: Caleb Patton & William Brumfield

Caleb Patton

Caleb is a 2 year varsity letterman on the football and basketball teams. In addition he is involved in Link Crew and Piqua Teen Leaders. Next Fall Caleb will be majoring in Pre-Medical Engineering and will be attending Case Western University in Cleveland Ohio.



William Brumfield

Will is a 3 year letterman on the varsity football team and is currently a 2 year letterman in wrestling and in Track. During his junior year, Will was a 1st Team All-Conference selection in football, a 2nd Team All-Conference selection and the recipient of the Trojan Award for wrestling. He has been a recipient of the Troy Scholar Athlete Award and the GWOC Scholar Athlete Award in each sport that he has participated in during his high school career. In addition, Will was the recipient of the Troy Vesper Award presented to the outstanding junior male. He is a 3 year member of the National Honor Society. He is also a member of Junior Cabinet, serves as a Reading Buddy, participates in the Interact Club, serving as President, and volunteers at his church. After graduation, Will plans to attend college to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering.
