2016 Hall of Fame Inductees: Steve Bailey & Derek Swanson

Steve Bailey

Steve graduated from BHS in 1999 and is a volunteer coach. Steve is currently a patrol officer, the primary offensive communicator and has done extensive work for the football program in the areas of video, film analysis and teams breakdowns. Steve and his family have been heavily involved with the Batavia Access Toy Drive, and have been a part of the Bulldog tradition for decades.



Derek Swanson

Derek is currently an assistant varsity football coach for Geneva High School. He attended GHS from 1982-1986 where he was the captain of the football and track team his senior year. Derek attended Western Illinois University where he played football and was an Academic All-American. Derek lives in Geneva and is the owner of D. Swanson Sales and Installations.
