2016 Hall of Fame Inductees: Kyle Hess & Devon Allen

Kyle Hess

Kyle, a graduate of Chandler High School in 2007 was a student of the game. He played with incredible intelligence and a unique ability to always be in the right spot. Kyle was a leader of the Chandler Wolves during the 2006 season on and off the field. He was a field general as a quarterback with all the tools and mental toughness you could ask for as a high school quarterback Kyle led his team with poise, matureness and the innate ability to win, which is a model for Chandler athletes. Kyle us now back with Chandler High School Football and works with the Freshman football team.



Devon Allen

Devon has played in this Great American Rivalry Series game twice, in 2010 and 2012. He accumulated 270 all-purpose yards for the Broncos just in those two games. In 2010, Devon caught five passes for 57 yards, returned two kick-offs for 40 yards and ran twice for 17 yards with one receiving touchdown. As a senior in 2012, Devon caught five passes for 64 yards including a touchdown, returned a kickoff for 21 yards and had 3 carries for 71 yards. Devon is now a standout football and track scholar and athlete at Oregon, he is a two time NCAA and US National track & field hurdle champion. Devon represented the USA in the 110 high hurdles during the 2016 summer Olympics in Rio. He is #13 for the Oregon Ducks and starts at receiver and kick returner. Accepting the award on Devon’s behalf is his father, Louis Allen.
