2015 Scholar Athletes – Joseph Partida & Daniel Funk

Joseph Partida, San Benito High

Joseph is a 2 year Letterman on the varsity football team and a 4 year letterman in baseball. He was 2nd team All District Offensive Tackle for the 2014 season. Joseph is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Club and San Benito FFA. He plans to pursue a degree in Pharmacy or Engineering at the University of Texas or Texas A&M.


Daniel Funk, Harlingen High

Daniel is a Varsity Lettermen in football and baseball. He is a member of the national honor society, the FCA and a volunteer for his church, Leaves and Fishes, and the Humane Society.
