2015 Scholar Athletes – Christopher Bologna & Evan Slattery

Christopher Bologna, Holy Cross (Dr. Joseph Murray Accepting on His Behalf)

Christopher Bologna has attended Holy Cross for 8 years and is a 3-year letterman in varsity football. Chris is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council, Peer Ministry team and Mu Alpha Theta math fraternity, as well as a Lector/Eucharistic Minister at his parish church. He has earned High Honors and the Tiger Award each year at Holy Cross, while maintaining Perfect attendance since 7th grade. Chris plans to further his education by studying engineering at LSU.

Evan Slattery, Jesuit (Peter Kernion Accepting on His Behalf)

Evan is a 2 year letterman on the varsity football team as a tight end and long snapper. He is a member of the National Honors Society , the Sodality, Mu Alpha Theta, the Big Brother Program, and the Campus Ministry Program. Also, Evan is a member of the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council in Kenner. This summer Evan put in more than one hundred hours of service to children with muscular dystrophy at the Louisiana MDA Camp. He is undecided as to his college and career plans.
