2015 Hall of Fame – Tommy Sitko & Newman Williams

Tommy Sitko, Archbishop Hoban

Tommy is the only Hoban player to start at quarterback in this rivalry game three years, 2000,2001, and 2002. The knights prevailed in all three contests with Tom scoring through the air and on the ground. He captained his senior year and was named All-State Team as well. After finishing his Hoban career 31 and 7 as a starter, Tommy went on to play at Kent State University where he started at tight end for three years. He currently lives in Brecksville with his wife Meredith (Hoban class of ’03) they are expecting their first child in November.


Newman Williams, St. Vincent St. Mary

Newman Williams played the Rivalry game his sophomore, junior, and senior year. Newman was a force both on offense and defense. Newman was a critical member of the team that lead the Irish to a state championship in 2012 and 2013! Newman is currently on a football scholarship here at the University of Akron, but is currently on the injured reserve. He majors in Sports Management.
