2015 Hall of Fame – Coach Richard Warren & Matthew Bentivegna

Coach Richard Warren, Bridgewater-Raynham High School

Coach Warren began his coaching career at Bridgewater-Raynham in 1975. Throughout his career, Coach Warren has coached Football, Basketball and Baseball. He has been a part of many league championships, as well as State Championships. Coach Warren began his coaching career at the Freshmen level, where he was very successful in developing younger players. In 1993, he moved to the Varsity Level and has brought great knowledge and work ethic, that has helped Bridgewater-Raynham be consistently one of the better programs in Southeastern Massachusetts.

Matthew Bentivegna, Barnstable High School

Matthew has been an integral part in the Barnstable –BR rivalry every year since his sophomore year in 2007. As captain of the 2009 team, Matty helped lead an underdog Red Raider team to an upset victory over the Trojans. Late in the 4th quarter, Matty entered the game to rousing ovations which led to chants of “Matty B” echoing through the stadium. After his graduation, Matty took over a different role on the sidelines and has helped coach Barnstable to three victories over BR and 3 league championships. Matty continues to be a coach for the Red Raiders football and lacrosse teams while furthering his education at Cape Cod Community College.
