Ben is a three year letterman on the football team and was all region his junior season. Ben is a member of the National Honor Society and has spent the last two summers in the Dominican Republic doing mission work with his church. Ben plans to attend college and pursue a degree in medicine.

DeVon Newman

Scholar Athlete Devon Newman, Oakland High School

DeVon is a four year letterman and has maintained a 3.65 GPA. He’s a member of the Youth Ministry at the Mount Zion Baptist Church and volunteers for Habitat for Humanity. He will attend Mississippi State University and pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.
