2014 Hall of Fame – Anthony Wright and Stephon Morris

Anthony Wright


In Anthony’s 3 years of Varsity Football he played and started in all games versus Eleanor Roosevelt. He was on the first Wise team to beat Eleanor Roosevelt and scored the winning touchdown in Overtime as Wise won it’s first playoff game. Anthony accumulated 3,255 yards and 35 touchdowns in his 3 year career at Wise and was named Offensive Player of the Year in Prince George County. He was a captain and a tremendous role model and leader during his high school career. Anthony went on the play football and graduate from St. Augustine College.

Stephon Morris


Stephon played running back and cornerback in this rivalry. He was Captain on the 2008 team. He secured the winning touchdown in Roosevelt’s regular season come from behind victory against Wise. He scored on a 95 yard run in a double overtime lose to Wise in the 2008 Playoffs. Stephon went on to a great career at Penn State where he started at Cornerback for 2 years and was selected All-Conference while at Penn State. In 2013, Stephon was signed by the New England Patriots and is currently an NFL Free Agent.
