2012 Scholar Athletes: Zach Labar and Jared Amader

From Rocklin High School- Jared Amader:

Jared is a 2 year letterman on the varsity team and was named a captain for the 2012 season. He is a commissioner of the student cheering section for his high school and has over 150 community service hours. Jared is also a 4-year member of National honor society. He is undecided, as of now, for which school he plans to attend, but he wants to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering. Jared has earned the respect of his teammates and student body as a strong leader and a genuine person.

From Del Oro High School- Zach Labar:

Zach has played varsity football the past two years. A captain on the team, Zach has been a leader on and off the field participating as an escort at the evening of dreams special needs dance and the Character Combine. Zach also is an outfielder and designated hitter for the Varsity Baseball team making him a four year 2-sport athlete. Zack is known as someone who has a thirst for knowledge and is incredibly motivated to the be the best at what he does.
