2012 Scholar Athletes: OitaLafo “PJ” Nu’usa and Tyler Ferill

East High School: OitaLafo “PJ” Nu’usa

PJ is a 2-year starter playing center, a team captain and a first team all region 6 football player. PJ is an exceptional young man with great character. He is a great leader and a huge reason why East is such a great school.

West High School: Tyler Ferill

Tyler is a two-year varsity letterman in football. Last year he also lettered in basketball and baseball and is looking forward to a great senior year. He is also working towards his international Baccalaureate diploma which makes him the only currently enrolled West High three sport IB student. Outside of sports and school, he also enjoys sculpting and has had several pieces accepted to the annual Hogle Zoo Art Show. He plans to pursue a degree in engineering and is in the process of narrowing down his college choices.
