2012 Scholar Athletes: Garrett Strohmaier and Austin Guillen

From Jesuit High School the Scholar Athlete Honoree is Garrett Strohmaier

Garrett is a two year letter winner on the varsity football and track teams. He was a second team All Delta River League selection last season as well as a pre-season All-NorCal and All-Metro selection for 2012. He is a member of the National Honor Society and a 5x honor roll recipient. He is Vice President of the La Raza Club and has done Christian service at the Camden Springs Retirement, Wellspring and Loaves and Fishes.

From Christian Brothers High School the Scholar Athlete Honoree is Austin Guillen

Austin has been a scholar athlete every semester of his high school career. He has been team captain and named two time defensive MVP for football and rugby. He is also a student ambassador. Austin participates in Camp ReCreation for participants with disabilities. He hopes to continue his career in college in a medical career.
