2012 Scholar Athletes: Eddie Brooks and David Sampson

From Hahnville High School- Eddie Brooks:

Eddie is a 4.0 student and is student body president. Eddie is back playing at Hahnville after sitting out the last two years for a total knee reconstruction surgery on all 4 ligaments. Eddie is happy to be back on the field and hasn’t missed a game since.

Presenting the award is Marine Sergeant Earls… Congratulations, Eddie!!

From Destrehan High School- David Sampson:

David is a 2-year letterman on the varsity football team and an honor student. He was nominated for student of the year and is also a member of National Honor Society. After high school, David intends to attend LSU and pursue a career in Chemical Engineering. Presenting the award is Marine Sergeant Townsend… Congratulations David!!
