2012 Scholar Athletes: Cooper Voigt and Stuart Hersh

From Martha’s Vineyard High School- Stuart Hersh:

Stuart is a 4-year player in both football and baseball. He has been a member of the National Honor’s Society for 2 years. He is Vice President of both the senior class and the business club. He aspires to major in engineering and business in college. He volunteers in the community for both the Martha’s Vineyard Cancer Society and the Martha’s Vineyard Hospice.

From Nantucket High School- Cooper Voigt:

Cooper is a 2-year letterman and 2-year starter on the varsity football team. After never playing football up until four years ago, he has learned what it takes to be a competitor and was named captain of the 2012 team. This is a true testament to hard work paying off, both on and off the field. He is always looking to find ways to improve himself and finding ways to help the team improve. He is a ferocious competitor, leader, and role model throughout the Nantucket Community with a never give up attitude. Cooper is a member of the National Honor Society and Peer Mentors Group. Cooper will attend college in the fall, but is currently undecided and will pursue a degree in Engineering.
