The Hall of Fame inductee from Christian Brothers High School is Vince Delgado

Vince had two of the best ever back to back games in the Holy Bowl as a running back. In 1982, he carried 15 times for 169 yards and 1 touchdown. He surpassed those numbers the next year with 204 yards on 26 carries. The Panthers won both games. As a senior, Vince played a key role as the team went 13-1 and won the section title. He rushed for 2,357 yards and 22 touchdowns and was named the Sacramento Bee Player of the Year. He was name All-State, went on to play for the University of California and was named the most outstanding player of the game against Stanford.
