2012 Hall of Fame: Sione Pouha and Mark Blosch

August 26, 2012

East High School: Sione Pouha:

Sione is starting NT for the New York Jets, and is also the current team captain. Sione was a first team lineman his junior and senior year. Played football for the University of Utah. Played for East in 1994-1996, beating West High his senior year 21-7. His most memorable thing about the rivalry was how physical and passionate he was. It was a neighborhood and a family battle. But the sportsmanship was always unbelievable, 48 minutes of battle, hugs and handshakes at the end. Sione and East were State Champions in 1996. His sister will be accepting this award.

West High School: Mark Blosch:

Accepting this award on his behalf, is the president on the Alumni association, Ray Hart.
