2012 Hall of Fame: Mikey Carmona and Bytheal Ratlife

From Watsonville High School- Mikey Carmona

Mikey is currently a coach on the Watsonville Football team. We would like to induct him into the Hall of Fame because he has been there for the Watsonville Football Team. He is dedicated to the young men on the football team where he hopes to have a successful season. We are honor for him to receive this outstanding award.
Presenting his award is Marine Sergeant Nixon. Congratulations Mikey!

From Santa Cruz High School- Bytheal Ratlife

Bytheal played in the Watsonville-Santa Cruz rivalry game as a junior and senior. He was an all-league lineman and linebacker. Future NFL running back Johnny Johnson gained most of his yardage running behind Bytheal’s powerful blocks. He was also a standout baseball player. His greatest contribution to the school and community has come in recent years as a coach and administrator. He has served as the junior varsity head coach for the past 10 years as well as being athletic director of Shoreline Middle School and coaching that programs basketball and softball teams.
