2012 Hall of Fame: Frankie George and Cathedral Catholic

From St. Augustine High School- Frankie George:

Frankie excelled on both sides of the ball, leading the team in rushing and in tackles in both his junior and senior years. He went on to play 10 seasons in the California Angels system compiling a .295 lifetime average in the minors. Frankie was inducted into the St. Augustine Athletic Hall of Fame in 1995 and again as a member of the 1970 undefeated CIF champion football team, for which he was the captain, MVP and the CIF Player of the Year. He went on to teach at the school for several years before entering private business.
