2012 Hall of Fame: Blake Sims and Jaybo Shaw

From Flowery Branch High School- Jaybo Shaw:

Jaybo played as the starting quarterback in all three of his rivalry games against Gainesville, 2005, 06 and 07. He led the Falcons to their first victory over Gainesville in 2006 by passing for 249 yards and rushing for 122 more yards, accounting for 371 yards of total offense that night. Jaybo returned during his senior season and led the Falcons to another victory versus Gainesville at the Bobby Gruin Field by rushing 235 yards and 169 yards passing; a total of 404 yards offensively. Those two victories solidified the rivalry between two of the areas stronger programs. Jaybo accepted an athletic scholarship to Georgia Tech where he played for two years before transferring to the University of Georgia Southern. While at Georgia Southern, He helped land the Eagles a trip to the FCS National Championship Game. Jaybo made a great impact in establishing tradition at the Branch.

From Gainesville High School- Blake Sims:

Blake played in the 2008 and 2009 Flowery Branch-Gainesville rivalry. He scored the game-winning touchdown in the ’08 game and threw the winning touchdown pass in the ’09 game. Blake graduated in 2010 and is currently playing football for the University of Alabama.
