2011 Scholar Athletes: Tony Tate and Quinton Taylor

Tony is a Tate National Honor Student and a 3-year letterman for the Varina Varsity Football Program. He was an honorable mention in All Capital District in both 2009 and 2010. Tony is currently being recruited by several Ivy League schools, including Princeton, Yale and Harvard.

Quinton Taylor is a 3-year letterman for the Knights and a member of the 2009 state championship team. He is beginning his 2nd year of starting quarterback and all the while maintaining his 4.1 GPA. He has been a leader on the field not missing a single day of season workouts in nearly three years. Quinton currently has several Ivy League Schools recruiting him as well as a number of D1 AA schools. He hopes to major in accounting.
