2011 Scholar-Athletes: Jackson Gomez and Mark Tate

Jackson Gomez is a 3-year letterman on the Cary varsity football team. He was named News Observer Scholar Athlete of the week; is an officer in the National Honor Society;and is a 3-year letterman in track and field.

Mark Tate is in his fourth year as a member of the Apex football team. He has been active in DECA,and last year placed first in the state in the statewide intern marketing project. Mark is a member of both the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society.
