2010 Scholar Athletes: Patrick Broder and Austin Smith

From Southeast High School, the scholarship recipient is Patrick Broder. Patrick is a 2-year letterman in football at offensive tackle and also plays baseball. He is an outstanding all around student with a passion for music. He plays three different instruments and sings in the school chorus, local community groups, and has sung the National Anthem at basketball games. Escorting him were his parents, Barry and Kathleen.

The winner from Manatee High School, Austin Smith, is a 2-year letterman with the varsity football and baseball teams and carries a 4.0 GPA. He was escorted by his parents, Tim & Kristy.
