2010 Scholar Athletes: Michael Zappa and Michael Rotar

Ursuline’s scholarship winner is Michael Zappa, son of Michael and Monica Zappa. Michael is a three-year letterman and has been on two state championship teams. He is a member of the Student Council and serves as a Student Ambassador. He is also a member of Students of Stewardship. Michael plans to attend college and study engineering.

The recipient from Cardinal Mooney is Michael Rotar, son of Dan and Pat Rotar. Michael is a three-year varsity member of the football team and a three-year letterman in tennis. He is a commended National Merit Scholar and a member of the speech team and National Honor Society. He plans to pursue a college degree in biology.
