2010 Scholar Athletes: Joshue Puente and Adam Nelson

The scholarship recipient from Cary High School is Joshua Puente, pictured with his parents, Andre and Teresa.

From Apex High School, the winner is Adam Nelson. Adam is in his second year as starting quarterback on the varsity football team. He is a two-year letterman and this year’s team captain. Adam carries a 4.5 GPA and is a member of the National Honor Society and Environmental Club. He plans to pursue a degree in Bio-Medical Engineering and is considering N.C. State and the University of Texas. He is pictured with his parents, Mike and Debbie.
