2010 Scholar Athletes: Connor Caldwell and Kwazel Bertrand

MBA’s scholarship winner is Connor Caldwell, son of Billy Ray and Maria Caldwell. Connor is a National Merit SemiFinalist and scored a perfect 36 on the ACT. He is a two-year letterman and captain on the football team, playing defensive line. He has also lettered in track as shot and discus thrower. Connor was a member of the State Championship Science Olympiad where he won six gold and three silver medals the last two years.

The recipient from Brentwood is senior defensive back Kwazel Bertrand, is a three-year letterman in football, basketball, and track. He is also a member of the Leadership Council and the National Junior Honor Society. Kwazel is the son of Felix and Angela Bertrand and plans to pursue a degree in pre-med in college.
