2010 Scholar Athletes: Christ Matey and Eric Farkas

From DeLand: Chris Matey
Chris is a four-year letterman and three-year starter. He is a member of the National Honor Society, a three-year student in international studies, and involved in Give Kids the World. Chris plans to pursue a career in medicine and participate in college football. He is pictured with his parents, Rob and Mary Matey.

From Sanford Seminole: Eric Farkas
Eric is a four-year letterman in football and a three-year letterman in soccer. He was named All Central Florida defensive back and punter. Eric is also a member of the National Honor Society, Student Government, Key Club, Interact Club, and founder of the Jewish Club. He is undecided about his college choice but will pursue a degree in business. He is pictured with his parents, Allan and Wendy.
