2009 Scholar-Athletes: George Ulmo and Carson Brown

George Ulmo plays varsity soccer and football for Midland Lee. He is also a commended National Merit Scholar and a Texas Scholar. He is a member of the National and Spanish Honor societies, student council, and Young Life. George is also a musician and plans to attend Texas Tech or Texas AM.

Carson Brown is a member of the football and basketball teams and is ranked 12th in his class. He is also in the Permian High School choir and was selected as a member of Black Magic last spring. Carson is a Texas Scholar, a member of the National Honor Society, and actively involved with his church youth group at Sherwood Church of Christ.
